Hello, I have come across a Craftsman 05191 that I am hoping to restore and put into use. It operates smoothly and is generally appears to be in good condition, but the articulating jaw does not retreat with the main screw when backed out. Something's amiss. It will also need new jaw plates...
Thanks guys. I've been making my way through that 101 section and will continue there before posting up my specific questions.
In any event I will post some pictures of what I've got - it's disassembled now, and I'm seeing there's likely something important missing. More to follow.
