I picked that set up a few years back. Zero complaints. It was a great deal.

    $1400 Breaker Bar?

Doesn't surprise me in the least that they used what they had to try and solve the problem. But I'd never be that upset over seeing someone misuse a tool. I've been frustrated before, but that's only because someone didn't listen when I told them the correct way to do something. Even then...if...

CRSinMich has been my "dealer" for quite some time lol. I can't thank him enough for all of the help and encouragement.

Huge haul from this Wednesday. Picked these up from CRSinMich. Thank you for the awesome deal, sir! A Stanley no6 and no3, a matched pair of hollow and round molding planes, two transitional smoothing planes, a matched pair of tongue and groove planes, three saws (the Gents saw isn't pictured)...

I made sure the have them grip the saw handle with both hands. I didn't want their fingers anywhere near the blade. That was a fear of mine, as well.

One thing to add....I was teaching them how to mark out each piece and saw some scraps using my Ryoba.

    Woodworking 101--Tools and Tips

A quick and dirty project this morning. A birdhouse using a single fence picket and a hinge. Was intending to have my two boys help me finish it once the pieces were cut, but that didn't happen, unfortunately lol. Low cost and rather easy (29 bucks for two pickets, the dowel, two hinges, and a...

    Tools of Japan

My first Vessel screwdriver. Been wanting one for awhile, and I got this as a Christmas gift. I love it, so far.

Gotta add the VIM bit ratchet. This is from my inlaws as well. It came in later than the others and they brought it with them today.

Couple of new items for Christmas. The glove box holder, paper towel holder, and the Vessel ratcheting screwdriver were from my inlaws, and my wife got me a digital tire pressure gauge.

CRSMich, that came out beautifully. Very well done.

    Is going brushless worth it?

My situation was driven by a bit of necessity, a bit of convenience, and a bit of good timing. I bought a Ridgid brushless set last summer to replace an older (but still serviceable) Ryobi set. For around $500 bucks I ended up with 6 brushless tools, four high output batteries (a 2ah and three...

Is the Best Diaper Bag a Tool Bag?

My wife found a Vera Bradley diaper bag at the local outlet mall on a deep sale (we've done that twice...once for each child). The second has lasted a couple years (and we've punished it lol). As they get older, the backpack and pad will be PLENTY. Make sure you have a small first aid kit...I...

Picked up a cheap heat gun and a 6 ton bottle jack (not pictured) off of Amazon. I'll keep the jack in my truck and toss it in my wife's car on road trips (I take my husky 3 ton jack if we use my truck). Also picked up the pouch and pencil boxes at Meijer. The pencil boxes were 29 cents apiece...

CLC tool belt and drill holster. I finally decided that I didn't want to keep climbing up and down a ladder or worry about dropping my drill/driver. Probably going to kick myself for not doing this sooner. I also ordered some terminals to keep in my electrical drawer.
