Would like to know if there is a standard high for a work bench? I am building one 2 feet deep * feet long and I'm guessing about 3 feet high off a stedded wall in my basement and would like to make sure befor I build it.:)

Dumb question but can someone tell me how duel batteries on a diesel truck like a F350 work and what one should I jump start if needed? I understand that a diesel takes more juce to turn over 2 12 volt batteries are still a 12volt system correct, if 1 bettery is bead are they both dead?:headscrat

What is commercial grit construction?

Thanks for your input, is there that big a cost difference from pole barn to stick build garage.

Problems that I was looking for was heating, condensation. I 'm looking to build a 32x26x12 with barn board siding, poured concrete floor and a double size overhead door.

If anyone out there have a pole barn garagecould you please let me know if thay are worth the trouble. My brother in law told me that it would be a lot cheaper to build.

The temp in the garage is steady 50 deg and the dehumidifier is rated down to 38 deg so I should be good. The Whirlpool dehumidifier does have 2 controls one for the fan and a seperat control for the dehumidiferwith 3 setting each..

I totally agree with the grading as #1 , but this is a basement garage and my daughters bedroom is over the garage and the gap does not help with heating in the room, she also has asthma and I'm sure mold is not good for her condition also.

I did find that the top of my insulated garage door was not pushed againsted the seal enough to keep some draft from coming into the garage so I used some 3/8 rubber hose on the top wheel track to get a good seal for now. The temp in the garage is about 50 deg F and its pretty cold out side now...
