For me, I like them because they will last, cut straight and efficient, don't need saw horses for most cuts, if you're using the board on the foot and cutting down through the board, rip cuts are simple, rarely need a table saw unless you need more depth of cut, and cuts hardwood like A dream.

Recently it has went down on Amazon I've noticed, and for other sites you still have to pay for shipping. Canadian Tire carries some skilsaw products, but not the oil or any other accessories

The kerosene wash is great for super old saws where the oil has hardened onto the gears.

Because for me the cost is 50$ for 1 tube right now, I'm sure I'm not alone.
