As mentioned above, vinyl can be removed very easily. remove the vinyl, install window, trim with J channel and cut siding to fit re-install. Should not need any more. I added an addition to my garage last year and took a piece of the old vinyl (12 years) to O.C. Cluss and they matched it same...

2nd picture shows turning hand wheel to the left puts it back to standard mode.
