I’ve used an impact with the Lisle weighted socket tons of times in Honda/Acuras for crank seals and timing kits on J series without issue. Never heard not to use an impact and doubt I’m gonna stop now.

I’m a pretty big Snap On fan and I’ll say their USA made chrome and impact sockets are just as good if not better than Snap On. I really like them.

Convert it to a removable shank

No warranty at all or no warranty directly thru them? I know vim is weird about warranties directly thru them, but I’ve had zero issues going thru my Cornwell dealer to get stuff replaced.

Matco are made by Astro. I’ve been using it for years with no complaints. The ratcheting handle it comes with is the best.

I guess I’m weird. I care far more about how pliers perform while grabbing something, over how they look when grabbing nothing. I have those pliers and they work great. Never studied how they look when grabbing nothing.

I like mine. I work on forklifts and equipment so the super long 3/8”s gets used almost daily. The locking mech isn’t great but it’s fine. Never broken it and I’ve reefed on it many times where I should’ve used a 1/2”.

Wait. Do I need a pressure washer to use this or can I just use my hose?
