    Spark Plug Socket Insert

Although they are nice, they are too expensive for this mechanic, I already have many sockets, just need the rubber.

I already have 15 sockets, I just need the insert.

    Spark Plug Socket Insert

$3 for tool, $9 to ship. That doesn't work for me. Also, looking at the cost of their tools, I can only think you are a salesperson there. The prices are outrageous!

    Spark Plug Socket Insert

Spark Plug Socket Inserts Most of my spark plug socket inserts, (the rubber piece that holds the plug in place / keeps the plug from falling out) are worn out or missing. I searched online for "Spark Plug Socket Inserts" and only finding sites wanting to sell the whole socket. Rubber hose is...

    5/8 arbor cut off disc

I've only used grinding - not cutoff - discs in my angle grinder. The discs are offset to allow grinding on the flat face of the disc. Cut off wheels use the edge of the disc. I can see the use for limited access and limited thickness before the head of the angle grinder interferes with the cut.

    5/8 arbor cut off disc

I have a volume of 4" OD cut-off wheels with a 5/8" ID arbor hole. Where does one use this size disc? I searched all over the place for a tool that specified this size disc. The best I could find is 1/4 shank to 5/8 arbor adaptor for $10 + 5 shipping. To me that seems excessive. My 1/4 die...

Convert Electric Pressure Washer to Gasoline

Great information, thank you. My burner is 110 volt. I would likely plug into the wall. I have this older Landa that was gas powered. Originally had a 15 HP Honda then the previous owner replaced it with a 8 HP Honda. When that wouldn't work, he sold it. I was going to simply replace the engine...

Convert Electric Pressure Washer to Gasoline

Where do I put this word out at? I would love to trade for a single phase unit of similar performance. Sidebar: My son lives in Poulsbo, WA. He is the owner of Great Northern Electric there.

Convert Electric Pressure Washer to Gasoline

I spoke with my local Landa dealer and he told me the controls are all 3 phase and there was no viable way to go to single from 3 phase. A pump is a pump, how it is driven shouldn't matter, only that it turns at the correct RPM which is 1025. I just need to match the pulleys so the pump is that...

Convert Electric Pressure Washer to Gasoline

Roger that, I read that I would need the gas engine to be 2x the rated horsepower of the electric motor. The motor spec is 6.3 HP so I'd need 12.6 HP in the gas. The Onan I have is 18 HP and has electric start. My concerns are some kind of pump unloader or engine idle control that would idle the...

Convert Electric Pressure Washer to Gasoline

Thanks for your reply. I should have mentioned that the 3 Phase Landa is belt driven. I'll be able to set the pump RPM to Onan engine RPM ratio without issue.

Convert Electric Pressure Washer to Gasoline

Has anyone converted an Electric Pressure Washer to operate on Gasoline power? I acquired a Landa PHW4-22024A pressure washer that is 3 phase 460 Volt, 20 Amp, 6.3 HP electric powered pump motor and a Diesel Fired water heater. I do not have 3 Phase power to my home shop, only single phase 240...

    sae/metric chart?

Good question.... Perhaps a 6 point socket can accept more clearance than a 12 point wrench. Most wrenches are 12 point.

    sae/metric chart?

You are absolutely correct, math is king however, this posts theme is to have a quick reference at the ready. When your hands are full of grease and grime and your wife is holding the part in place above her head on the creeper, it's not the time to be ********* the calculator...
