What's the most common/useful 240v outlet style for a general garage?

Let me check on the wire used. It looked very heavy.

What's the most common/useful 240v outlet style for a general garage?

So for the EV, it'll be fine, from the sounds of it. I won't charge the EV anytime but overnight, I imagine. And if that changed, I'd unplug it to use the 240 elsewhere. Thanks.

What's the most common/useful 240v outlet style for a general garage?

I had the electrician add a 100A sub panel from the 400A service of the house. They pulled two 240v runs. One for a disconnect to use with my future mini split for the garage, and the other, an outlet in the back corner of the garage. Right now, it's got a blank plate over the end. Electrician...

Jackshaft Garage Door Openers: Which will be best for cost vs. return (Bang for the buck)?

Yes. After watching a video on the subject, I think it's about as easy as it could be. Looks like I was quoted hundreds of dollars to install each @ $800 per motor, installed. Hard pass.

Jackshaft Garage Door Openers: Which will be best for cost vs. return (Bang for the buck)?

Seems like the Liftmaster is what most have. I was quoted twice that to have them/installed. Seems like a LOT.

I don't live in such an area. Will look into that model. Thanks. Any feedback on Genie models?

Jackshaft Garage Door Openers: Which will be best for cost vs. return (Bang for the buck)?

Looking at Jackshaft Openers and I see several out there. For whatever reason, the sales guy quoted me on Liftmaster 8500w for $800 installed, but then his boss said Genie makes a good opener. Odd, I thought. Why the place quoted one, but suggests the other, they didn't say. But what are the...

Where would you place your outdoor unit for Mini Split, given this layout?

Interesting on the wall hangers, but could build something to elevate. I like the idea.

Where would you place your outdoor unit for Mini Split, given this layout?

Saw some pretty neat platforms where one could "elevate" the outdoor unit either a foot or two, or lift up higher. But it gives flexibility.

Where would you place your outdoor unit for Mini Split, given this layout?

I'm going to add a 36,000 BTU Mini Split for this garage to heat/cool the large room (not really concerned over the smaller one) and plan on placing the inside part of the mini-split just off center line, to the right rear of the garage. Right rear corner is where sitting/standing would happen...
