Yup, we use this stuff in the Warehouse I work at, here in Oz. Pretty pricey over here, that would go for around $200 per bay.

Hmmm ... I personally don't really like much in the way of tools at Bunnings ... having said that I recently purchased a Maktek 9" angle grinder from there. Its taken a hell of a workout thus far, I'm pretty impressed for the price (was cheap .... cant remember exactly how much).

Your best bet would be Supercheap Auto stores. From what I can gather they are Australia's nearest equivalent to HF. Everything's a fair bit more expensive that the US, but that's just how it is. Supercheap stocks Stanley branded toolboxes, which might do the job for you. As for building...

I have done a fair bit of interior painting in the past of both plastics and vinyl. I have had, by far, the best results by first giving the parts a good general clean with detergent/soap and a pressure washer. Once they are completely dry, I like to leave them in the hot sun to warm through...
