Well is in and transformer is set.
Electrician has started his work and I will have it completed and a final electric check off in early June. Still looking at a early July move in date for me and late July for the family.
I went with a 120 gallon galvanized pressure tank and a 1.5HP well...
Updates!
#1- Duke energy work order is in for a buried feed to dual 200 AMP panels. One panel will be outside and one panel inside the building. The installation has been held up about a week because even though Duke has had power coming to my property for years, they never had a signed...
Seven weeks out and still don't have a complete insulation kit.
Duro had it sent from the manufacturer and the manufacturer mailed it in 4 shipments, but only 3/4 of the packages arrived. The tracking number for the fourth package ends in Doraville Georgia and then was lost.
Last Wednesday...
Package number 4 of the insulation kit is still missing.
I finally got Duro to realize there was an issue and I wasn't looking at the wrong tracking number.
Tracking number report says "UPS Lost Package Investigation" and supposedly duro has submitted for a re-shipment of the missing parts also.
Two of the four packages which are the insulation kits were delivered. The other two didnt show up yet.
One looks like it is supposed to show up today and one has been stuck in limbo at a UPS warehouse for 4 days. Hopefully they all show up.

I didn’t want windows for weather proof integrity of the building...
I sent an email late last night asking again about the insulation kits.
Today just before 10am I received an email that the kits had been shipped and were to arrive today. So I have scrambled all day trying to find someone to meet UPS at the building because they were shipped to a vacant...
Duro knows exactly what’s going on. I have been talking with the owner directly about it. Their stance is that they never pay for labor, and even though it is their fault the wrong doors were sent, I have to eat the labor cost to have the insulation installed.
You can see the date on this...
Three weeks out and still no refund for the wrong door hardware and no delivery of the insulation kits that were in the contract.
Starting to really be disappointed in the customer service of Duro buildings.
Update on Duro Buildings of Pompano Beach sending the wrong stuff.
#1- Since I wasn’t there to catch that the wrong man doors were sent and we didn’t notice until after they were installed, I agreed to a refund for what they considered the monetary difference between the doors. It equaled $216...
