It's not really advisable to dump unconditioned air into the return of your HVAC system as in the diagram you posted -- that's why having a system that uses a dehumidifier to inject the makeup into the supply is often shown.
The issue is still the same -- systems fighting each other.
The OP's original question seems to indicate some misunderstanding of load and capacity .... if you walk out in your cold garage and light a candle ....... how long will you have wait for the garage to warm up? Now we know that the garage is never going to warm up. What if you light two...
I have overpaid for a house I wanted and for a location I wanted .... life is short and you never know. It all depends on if you can afford it ..... time is also on your side. The longer you hold it the better ... I have never lost money. Maximizing on a given property is hard to judge...
People are forgetting that the rental properties are not costing the value of the house ... when I bought my Philly row homes for 50k they did not cost me 50k. I could not sell them and pocket 50k to put it into the stock market or other investment. On average I put 10k into them ... most had...

There are companies that make new frames for the old glass .... I don't think anybody makes the glass anymore. The real glass .. there are reproductions.
It's like the old garage porcelain shades --- the old stuff can be worth quite a lot.
I paid over 1k for 3 NOS matching a few months ago
I bought some "parts" -- all from china. Wireless and wired -- occupancy and simple contacts. I have not put anything together. The pump I have has the temp sensor. The problem is the timer -- you want something that times out ... they only have to run for a short time.
Even a simple...
not a bad price on sale if it holds up and the cost with the pump is even better deal as the SS pmps are not cheap.
It has to be stainless -- or should be as it it potable water
