Re: Garage Condo 45x23 Like cat06 mentioned, we use tie wire and 16 duplex nails to nail forms and bracing to concrete. It's commonly known as "bulldogging" here. Works well and is easy to strip. Keep the updates coming, I love garage condos!

Awesome! Very modern. The natural light in the living and dining area is amazing. It seems like the clean lines and materials used will be fairly easy to keep clean with the kids running around.

Beautiful house and garage! Excellent taste in cars as well. If you ever have some free time (i know, i know... haha) I'd love to see some shots of the house inside. I'm curious as to what style you guys went with to go along with the clean/modern exterior.. something similar? Once again, well...

Matt, Where did you get the spacers for behind your license plate? I'm trying to find something like that as well to keep the plate off the paint but am worried the spacer itself would scratch. Are you using some sort of soft rubber washer? Thanks!

Just started watching your 3 part series on the M3.. I was hoping to get outside today and do my car but its been raining lightly on and off up here in the northeast. So I guess it'll have to wait until next weekend. Sooner or later I need to look into some more edgeless microfibers and upgrade...

Haha, I did spot those when you were in demo mode. I would definitely beef up what you have there. Adding the kickers won't take much time at all. Even if the bottom held with the 4 stakes you currently have, chances are the top will push outward somewhat and you'll be left with a not so pretty...

    Between 265 & 485 SQ/FT My 1st Garage Journal

Great work so far! Lots of time, effort, and money, but what a difference! As far as your curb goes, I'm not sure if you're 100% finished, but may I suggest adding some kickers to the side of your formwork. Add some 2x4's at a 45 degree angle (or less of an angle) to keep the form from wobbling...

    Farrell's Wood Working Wondershop

Wow! What a beautiful workspace. I think everyone on here would love to spend some time in there. Do you ever find yourself tinkering with any of your own projects in his shop? Great pictures also! I found myself admiring the machines he's using (tools from that era just seem to have "the...

    My Garage Upgrade

Nice work! Great idea moving the compressor outside and mounting the grinder on the block to save some extra floor space. Your work benches look rock solid as well. What a great piece of property for a car guy. Plenty of room to work outside when the weathers nice. I'll be following along for...

Outstanding! They look great, and from watching your detailing vids, I'm sure you'll enjoy having about triple the counter space and tons of storage. Did you end up shimming any of the base cabinets to get everything perfectly level, or did it happen to work out nicely with just the pallet and...

    Horizontally Opening Garage Doors?

Sorry for the delayed reply. I appreciate all the help thus far! I've been searching and checking out the places you guys have mentioned and found a couple good leads that I'll look further into this week. The doors I need are two swinging 4ft (approx.) doors. They aren't extremely popular it...

    Horizontally Opening Garage Doors?

Hey guys, I'm wondering if anybody knows where to purchase or knows of any garage or shed doors that open horizontally as opposed to the standard vertical doors. It would be perfect for a shed project we'll be doing since we'll be restricted with height and would prefer the doors to open...
