The starrett was one of my closest friends. I got it, the workbench and gerstner when he passed. The wilton was craigslist or offerup. The Prentiss was private salefrom a guy I know and the latest was the Morgan which was from an auction.
Here's my 4.5 inch Starrett, 6 inch Wilton, 7 inch Morgan and 8.5 Prentiss 58. I picked up the Morgan because I wanted the base for the Prentiss.

Yes, as a matter of fact the I/M 10ee is a DSG casting! sorry for the crappy pic, but it's all I found sitting here. Yeah, with only about 400 Rivetts made it would be a pretty amazing find if you did find one there!!

I played machine tetris and got a machine out of the garage and down the road to a new owner.
Yay to more space!!...I'll fill it shortly though...

I see the board there. did you set 2x4's between the base casting and the motor/drive assembly to slide it on or just to get it off the mounting bolts and slid on the base casting itself?
thanks
jeff.
And as another comparison, here's most of the electronics from my 1988 lathe when I got it.....
works great by the way. Solid State with regen braking. No Flux Capacitors though..

The first pic is my main lathe..cause it works...lol. It's a 1981 17gx40 Whacheon. It had sat for 40 years and had never been used when I bought it. I cleaned up all the old...
