I got some Matco impact sockets about 4 months ago (not ADV) and USA is not stamped in them nor was their a coo on the package. But my Matco extensions which are about a year old have it stamped and on the foam holder.
I’ve always liked Mac stuff. I’ve got a lot of their chrome USA sockets and their ratchets. Even have a set of the original knuckle saver wrenches. Never had an issue with any of it. Back in the 80s and early 90s Mac was very popular in the area. But I haven’t seen a Mac truck in sometime.
I’ve got a 1/4 set that I like pretty well. I’ve never used a wrench on the square end, but I have used my fingers on the flats for manual use without a ratchet. I think it’s really nice for that.
They aren't Snap On wrenches. But they are warrantied by Snap On, shipped in Snap On boxes, and Snap On reps visit the Case IH parts expo. Basically Taiwan Williams.
I've got a set of the original Mac Knuckle Savers, and I really like them. I've never had one slip, spread, bend or break. And I've cracked loose ALOT of hydraulic lines with the 7/8-1" wrenches. Those get seized pretty good over time. I've no idea compared to a tie rod, but they've served me...
