I can imagine that the treatments used in California now will fail in not too long of a period.
Started moving a few things into the new shop. Built some shelves too. Yikes. Bought three 4x8 7/16" OSB boards, six ten foot Doug Fir 2x4's, and a couple of screws. $240! My mind was thinking...
Haha, my back is much better today. And no doubt on the Black Widow spiders. I always look before I stick my hand into or around anything. Those Black Widows are everywhere around here. They scare the crud out of me. We have Clark Pest control, but we're in California, so I don't think what...
That's Ralph and Alice. They are Hungarian Vizslas. All caramel all the time. That is, they have caramel noses, caramel paw pads, and caramel toe nails. If there is any black they are not a Vizsla. Lots of people think they are Ridgebacks. They do look pretty closely like them.
Finally...
I saw that. I have a friend in Colorado who's been spreading the word about this issue on FB and other forums. Totally outrageous. He had just bought two MV's and didn't realize that this was the new law in Colorado until he went to register them this past week.
This really needs to be...
You know, I didn't check that out too closely yesterday, but I did immediately notice gaps along the sides of the new roll up door. I guess it wasn't the door itself, the gaps appear to be that the siding is not all the way against the framing where it meets the side opening of the garage doors...
Thank you! Yes, it was worth the wait for sure. I think overall it's going to be more of a utilitarian building to store vehicles and, lets see, junk.... lol
Good news, the guy with the doors showed up today and installed both of the doors by himself. The dogs were stoked!
Nine and a half days and the three guys are done with the shop. Amazing. They really did a nice job. This crew doesn't do the main roll up garage doors, however.
I went to the builder to see what I owed and when the garage doors would be installed, but they seemed confused and after about a...
Thanks Grizz. Yes, have to pinch myself once in a while.
The shop kinda impacted the view of my neighbor. It's over thirty feet from the property line, but based on where their house is located forward on their property it has a bit of an impact.
I bought some Redwoods and some blood red...
You know, I did look at the make of the scaffolding as they were really simple, well built, and generally cool. However, I don't remember now. I'll see if I a photo with a label on it. If not, I'll ask the guy what brand they are and get back to you.
Counting the attached two car garage, this will be garage #3. I promised my wife I'd convert the attached two car garage into a craft room for her once this build is completed. I'll have to insulate and sheet rock it. It'll be quite the project, but she indulges me, so it's the least I can do...
Exactly. This will be storage for the vehicles and parts, etal. I have the restoration defect and keep restoring and no interest in selling and of the vehicles.
Yeah, the truss build on the ground was kinda cool. The used the brackets and electric winches to raise them into place and cut the...
