Making progress. Able to get the slab poured yesterday before the rain today. Compacted gravel back fill with 2" of insulation, vapor barrier, wire mesh & 5" of 4,000 lb concrete. Here are some pics.

I did not move the house. Although small, it is big enough for me right now. The garage was my priority. I have 15" between he house and the garage that will be connected by a covered walkway for now. This will leave room to add onto to house later or if I would every tear the old house...

Thank you for the feedback. On the field tiles, they found that they were no longer active. The water in the footer area was just because of the water table seeping. They recommended capping them off with concrete, just to be safe. So that is what we did.
