Is this something that comes up occasionally or was this a one time thing? Just now looking into my options and trying to decide what to do with 3000 square feet of concrete
Thanks for the ideas. The HD-40 and SPGX look nice but I think those are top coats and I'm concerned what they will look like in 10 years and having to redo them. I think with the sealer/densifier I can just spray more on if it looses its effectiveness correct?
While I'm asking, lets say I did decide to spruce it up a little. Could you polish it before or after the densifier and have a little better looking end product? What order would you do it in?
My head is starting to hurt from all the information and options out there so I'm going to ask to try and get pointed in the right direction.
I have a hangar that has about 3000 square feet of concrete that I would like to seal/coat. Its roughly 14 years old, smooth finish but the people who...
One other thing to consider, move the compressor out of the shop and run pipe to it so you have a little space freed up and don't have to listen to it run. Mine is at the front of the hangar and the previous owner ran pipe all over the hangar/shop with connectors in different places.
Very nice! Where did you get the tool organizers? I could use a set like that for pliers. We just moved into an airpark in April and I'm trying to figure out how to get my hangar and shop organized as well. What are you flying? We have a 182
The plastic has been taped down for two days in a couple different spots and both are dry. Raining like crazy out so I think its safe to say the slab is good. Ill get a fan going for now and keep the cabinet doors cracks then look into the Panasonic in the future. Thanks!
Looks like a useful working shop to me. I've tried to clean mine up to look like these "ultimate garage/man caves" you see pictures of and determined those people probably just park their Lambos in them and don't actually use it like a shop.
Only thing I could think of is if you want to hide...
Thanks for the thoughts. I checked the dehumidifier today after leaving it run constantly and it didn't have much water in it. Says humidity is 51% but it has seemed like its not been doing as well as it used too .Ill pick up a new one and see if it does any better as well as run it with a...
I recently moved into a place with a nice size pole barn that has an insulated shop in part of it. The place was pretty much closed up for a year before we got it and had a really bad stagnant smell as well as a little bit of mold on things like canvas bags, cardboard etc. I've been running a...
