Take a look at the Piher Maxipress clamps. They are my go-to F-style clamp.
I ordered mine at badplanet.at if it helps. You can check price comparison sites like idealo or geizhals (both .at and .de work, the results will vary based on where they ship). You might find a site that ships oversees. Actually, I'm gonna check myself...
Nope, unfortunately none of them will ship overseas, but I checked the official site and there are quite a few US retailers. You might find one that's cheaper than Amazon.

These look awesome, but wouldn't a forged steel clamp still be a better choice for abuse?
I got a bunch of ****** clamps and really need to get some decent ones, but the choice is kind of overwhelming. I was thinking about getting something like these.

I don't know if they are better. I have a bunch (200+, mostly quality brands) clamps, but the 4 Piher clamps get used first, unless I just need a longer clamp. The threads are enclosed so you can't get weld spatter on them, and the pad on the moveable jaw doesn't spin, so it has less tendency to move the work piece when tightening.
The type of work you are doing matters also. Welding has different needs than does cabinet making or fine woodworking.

Fine point, I definitely agree cast iron makes more sense for many welding applications!

Yes, I have one of those. Great for removing car mat retaining clips on BMW's. Always good for those items where your biggest flat blade screw driver is not big enough. Fits and doesn't butcher the slot.
Darnit, another 20 bucks gone for these and a set of spare jaws:
Tsunoda, PL-150SC-S PLA-iers, Replaceable Resin Jaw Pliers w/built-in-spring (6-inch)
IPS seem really flimsy and cheap (and they are really affordable). I ordered on water pump plier set with the soft jaws and was impressed - for the money, really decent pliers that do what is advertised and don't have a ton of play. In fact, the slip joint has a very reassuringly firm engagement. I think Tsundoa is better, but both are great for the money.

My brother in law was using a ratcheting cutter tool to cut brake lines in tight quarters. Picked one up immediately after i saw it.

All right, I know I am at an old age to discover this thing -- but a zip tie tightener cutter? This is awesome. I used it to zip tie some flex duct. Then to zip tie close some Acko bins for a move.
