Hi Guys I shopping for a strong tool bag.

I currently have this bag and its amazing to fit my tools but the weight in it crushing the top and very hard to carry.

I was thinking tech LC or Tech XL or maybe MCT just hard to tell what will fit my gear.

Basically common tools from m12 impact/drill, 1/4" sockets, pliers multi meter, stuff finder, screwdrivers, tape etc

I have the XL and it's a love-hate kind of thing. If you ever want to find things quickly organization is key, LOTS of room for tools to hide. Both sides of the bag are identical and I always go to the wrong side first but labels would fix that.

Fully loaded, it is heavy but, I love the fact it has tons of room. I know what is in there and just have to search for stuff when I need it!

I would get the MCT(taller for meters etc). I bought the bags when they first came out(
no one really heard of Veto). The bigger bags are ok if you have a cart to haul them around. My Veto MC can hold a pretty big meter (Fieldpiece SC640) but kinda tight.

Great info thanks for sharing I am learning the sizing here I think it goes

MC < MCT < Tech LC < Tech XL
I am leaning towards the New Black MCT but its the same money as the Tech LC , you do find the LC a heavy bag ?

Yes. They are both heavy. I never carry the LC around far. TBH I usually load a Klein open top bag for the job at hand. Keeps the weight down.

I’ve wanted a veto bag for a long time now and the spring promotion finally made me pull the trigger. This is my new main hand tool bag for my van. Everything fit just how I’d hoped. one side for wood tools, the other for mechanical stuff.
I mainly do remodeling and handyman type work. Yes, it weighs a ton, but I can access everything without pulling it off its shelf in the van.

My free bag from the spring promo came in and I set it up to keep in my daily driver so I don’t have to take my van out for little jobs. Should be everything I need for small jobs like replacing a faucet or light fixture, etc… time will tell.

The drill holster comes out to clip on a belt

I have a tech lc. It's ok but I don't care for the way the tool sorting works. Small items end up piled up in the bottom. I went back to using my old faithful leather electricians square pouch. 30 years of evolving and it's what works the best for me. Identical to this one but much more war torn.

I have the older version of that bag, I love it, it's my main bag when working out of the van (roadside breakdown tech).

I will post up some updated pics as it's constantly evolving as I buy new tools/find better solutions to store stuff.

Prefer the pouch and lineman’s bucket by Klein over the square bag , due to theft issues , the squares look to tempting to the light fingered

I have a Veto bag, an LC? I forget, too lazy to go look! Anyway, it is over 15 years old, maybe 20 years. I used it in the HVAC trade for 3-4 years, then changed jobs so it doesn't get used much, but I keep it loaded up with tools so I have something to work on outside the shop I can just grab the bag.

Great bag, tough, they hold up better than anything else, but they are heavy. When I was working HVAC I would buy a new bag every year, of various brands. None held up over a year, except the Veto.
