Sometimes you do something so ridiculous it makes you giggle. You’re looking at it. And before you say “Why” I say “Because I can”.
Vintage 1960’s Milton air inflator. —— Orange pumice hand cleaner for cleaning up the hose. Was able to save the original Milton logo on the hose. Also polished all the brass end fittings. For the inflator I used polishing pads starting at 600 then worked up to 3000. Then a bench buffing wheel with white rouge. Then a bench buffing wheel with Mothers metal polish. Then hand polished with more Mothers. Painted black inside the Milton. It’s all displayed on a piece of phenolic wood I had laying around. I could possibly be the only person to polish quick release fittings and to mount a air inflator as a display piece. Haha.
