Hello everyone. We've got a new build started. So, I thought I would invite my fellow garage enthusiasts to join me in my voyage. 15 years ago, I made a "single car revamp" thread on here and got some really good feedback. So I figure, why not do it again? Without further ado, here's what I'm thinking. 40x64x14 the 16x16 storage room with be used to store some appliances and material for apartment buildings. Next to it will be a 5x8 bathroom and a 5x8 broom closet. A loft will be above these room, as they will have an 8' ceiling. The empty corner left will be the work shop with a welding table in the center with a tool box and metal cabinets. Now, for the important part... the bar! Ill share a screen shot i stole from a video sharing app. This will be my inspiration for the bar area.20250421_195628.jpg20250612_200524.jpg20250616_195158.jpg20250617_163028.jpg20250618_195514.jpg20250624_163136.jpgScreenshot_20250405_162803_TikTok.jpg

Great looking building! The black ceiling looks fantastic. What are you going to do as far as insulation in the ceiling goes? I ask because you didn't put up any vapor barrier.

Thanks Mr. One. I was just going to blow in insulation. Decided against a vapor barrier. Hopefully thats not a mistake...

That's a very nice looking building!
I also noticed you omitted vapor barrier as I normally see installed up north. Do you live in far south Illinois?
