I thought about commenting that didn't think hay trailers were allowed to have matching tires....racks that were around us never did! Only thing that matched was they were mostly black and round.... hopefully!

Saw these in Yarnell Friday on the side of the road for sale. They look like propane tank end bells welded to 1/2 a tractor rim.
I’ve watched a couple YouTube videos on how to cut a propane tank without blasting yourself into the next life, so I’m not scared! And I do have a plasma cutter and a metal glue gun!

What a PITA!!! Wanted to replace all the shop garage door seals before winter to better seal out some cold. I'm rethinking my life at this point. One down, two to go. Old vs new. Definitely seals 1000% better, but man what a chore.

WD-40 is your friend. Still a pain the in the *** but a bit easier pulling the seals in and out.

I used Boeshield T9. Getting the seals in and out was the easy part. I had to remove the bottom bracket and roller as these are 14ft doors and the bracket is bent at a 90dg angle and lips all the way under the door and blocks the track ends. There is no way to slide the seals in and out with the brackets on.

. We were here last winter, and it was bad. Like the worst in many many years. So we've got the bad one under our belts hopefully 
. Kids like the snow. They get sled rides behind the tractors and neighbors quad. My wife grew up in northern Michigan so she actually like the cold.

When the garage door guys came out to work on my doors a couple weeks ago one of the things they did was replace all the thin bottom seals with better thicker ones in an attempt to stop rain water from working under the doors into the shop. The guy doing it had some kind of guide/shoe that made installing the seal a one man two minute job. Sorry, didn’t take any pictures, but it did happen. Maybe search on the innertube for that tool, and if you do get it maybe you can loan it out to us when we need it?!

Thank you for the kind words. He is definitely already a hard worker and loves helping and loves! being in the shop. He helped me get everything from our "out back" trash pile into the dumpster too.
He wants to own a tow truck and rescue cars and also wants to have a dump truck business. Lol.

Another garage door seal bites the dust. This time with a trick I made up! Install went from 2 hours to 15 minutes! Hopefully this helps if someone runs into these weird bottom roller brackets and thinks this can't be done.
I was thinking to myself how can I get tension off the cables without turning the springs because I don't want to die alone today! Lol.
Played around with that for a minute and then decided to hell with that.
So what I can up with which worked flawlessly was cutting the track. I put a small cut off wheel on my trusty m12 Dremel and cut the seal track right at that bracket. I was then able to pull the track down just enough to replace the seal going right under that bracket. I vise gripped the door just in the right position to pinch my seal on the side track bracket to act as my second set of guide hands and did a combination of pulled/pushed it through. One man job. The seals also have enough compression to them to where I was able to feed more into the track than I needed and then back feed stretch it back into the few inches on the other side of the cut. One self tapper, this seal is now replaceable for life

I kept the track in front of the seal sprayed with T9 and sprayed the seal every foot or so and it went in pretty darn easy actually. I was able to just push the whole seal from one side all the way to the other. Now that I don't have to come up with an idea and I know exactly what to do I bet I can do the 3rd door in 10 minutes
Yes hopefully this helps you in the future and saves you all the aggravation I went through on the first door. Now I know for sure I'll have time to even replace the two on the house as well before the winter weather.

Good deal on the hard seat on yours, way better when riding all day. Tough to tell from the pics, is the black seat on the smaller one "suede" or a "soft" seat.
