I think we warned you that horses are an expensive "pet"....6 months later you're looking for supplemental income. Wait till the kids want to start competing and you're buying expensive horses not nags! Lol

Well my first daughters horse was 13k and my second one we got lucky and scored for 5k. No way in Sam I'm getting more expensive than that. We'll start going to the auction. There is one 10 minutes down the road.

I had a couple horses back in the mid '90s. Loved 'em, but wow high maintenance. Swore I'd never do it again unless I could hire someone else to feed & clean. I only have to feed & clean my bikes when I ride them, and they only go where I tell 'em to.

We have a cow too. The only time I really think twice about it all is the winter. It's cold feeding and filling waters at night in the dark. Lol.

I'm tagging this for later...I believe in the literary world, they describe this as foreshadowing

This would also be the part where the British narrator would say something like "What Boost did not yet understand, was that he would absolutely spend more for horses...he just didn't know it yet..."

I refuse to be a pawn in your story!

There maybe, just may be a building around the size of 96x196 involved 🤷

You'll have to be pretty quick as a header to make that work for team roping

I have, however, tied A LOT of calves in a barn that size, and did some (lets be honest, also A LOT of) breakaway roping when I was a a few too many beers in to jump off the horse at speed!

Well boys and girls, today was officially my first day of corporate world work after being self employed for the last 10 years and then having taken this past year and a half off.

I'll try and keep the homestead happenings updated but my posts may go down a bit as I get settled in and through all the training.

I started today in the service department at a very busy John Deere dealership. 👍
