On Saturday, I went on my usual tool hunting rounds, knowing that I wasn't getting any of the sales on the first day. Which is fine, as I really don't need anything, and probably have too much as it is. Or so my wife says...
The first stop had nothing of interest, but the second one was great, and I wish I had hit it on Friday before it had been picked over! (So much for not needing anything...)

Blackhawk brace, Spofford brace, PowrKraft (Wright) ratchet, unmarked but black finished pliers, and an odd carb adjustment tool, with 1/4" ratchet tips at both ends that move together.
Third stop makes me sigh. When you are running an estate sale, if there are tools, put that in the ad. For heavens sake, please do this! I search by that key word when there are a lot of posting to go through, as it keeps me from chasing my tail, so to speak. But this sale had a giant workshop, that had been, apparently, full of tools on the first day, and still had a few left on the third! And I would have changed my Friday plans and made it to this sale, and the one I hit before this. But, I digress.

I didn't end up buying any of the tools that were left, but, instead, I bought this old Raleigh bicycle. Not for me, mind you, I am only 5"7", and this thing is for someone well over six foot. And it isn't in good condition in any case. But, it has a Brooks saddle, Mavic 700c wheels, and who knows what else has been upgraded on it. So, for $10 if followed me home. And after that I went and got some breakfast.
And kept thinking about the second sale. See, there was a barrel of barreled rifle actions there, and a couple looked pretty good. So, I went and picked up some more money, and headed back over there.

Two antiques. A Winchester 1886, and a U.S, Krag with stock. Altogether at that stop I spent around $70, and it was worth every penny.
