Interested in which company makes the power tools.

Würth Master Power Tools Ltd. It’s a joint venture with TTI Techtronic Industries Co. Ltd., in Hongkong. Würth holds the majority on this company. It was founded in December 2018. Edit to add: this is battery powered tools only as far as I know. I think mains powered tools are still sourced differently/ re-brands.

Kind regards,
Olli

They offer an extensive line of workwear.

As we have briefly mentioned elsewhere here, they also have unique screw drive systems like ASSY RW and others:

Here is my 5/16 hex bit for AW-Drive screws, a predecessor to RW, along with a peek of a workcoat I own:

So to get this going I will share a couple of tools, I photograph all my tools and the scope of supply, sometimes packaging for catalog/archival purposes - before I do my personal testing & evaluation of the tool(s) and add them to corresponding kits for use. That out the way, let’s start with the first tool.

—-

1/4” drive socket and bit kit with bit ratchet, bit driver handle and extension that will work with 1/4” hex bits, and with collar retracted as 1/4” square drive extension. This was a limited edition and came with a bottle opener. The sockets are the well known multi profile sockets. “Black Edition”.

Because that question will probably come, here’s the adapter/ bit holder extension:

I really like this small bit ratchet setup.

How is this? Have you used it much?

It won’t win a prize for smallest/ most compact footprint. But I think it’s overall a really good compromise between head size, clearance (edge of the head to middle of bit), length & weight with the internal bit storage. If you can make 6 bits work & don’t need the seventh inside the ratchet it also packs really nice/flat, very low profile. Also safe to put in a pocket without the seventh bit installed. Head size & clearance are very similar to the original Wera bit ratchet. But you get “more handle” and the internal storage. Pictures here: https://www.garagejournal.com/forum/threads/battle-of-the-bit-ratchets.462143/page-6#post-11012504

I’ve used it mainly for testing & evaluation around the house, no issues. It would definitely be my first choice if I wanted a small travel ratchet either for actual travel or daily commute - especially nowadays in our evermore “blade less” turning world, were even a SwissTool/Leatherman can become a problem.

It’s also a great size to keep in a pen case (or similar) as well. A tool for places where you typically don’t find tools, just so unobtrusive.

Hope this helps.

Kind regards,
Olli

That's my thoughts for a EDC kit I'm building, this is good info.

Really appreciate your input in this tread Olli, but my bank account doesn't. :ROFLMAO:

NICE Olli!

Made in Japan?

I don’t know. Doesn’t explicitly say Made in Japan, and Tajima claims: “being a multinational company with world wide production locations”.

But it’s a terrific cutter non the less. Maybe not fully up to NT standards/quality, but it’s my most used cutter and the lock even holds up to using a 18mm saw blade designed for 18mm cutters. And the “driver”-nose is one handy detail I can tell you.

Kind regards,
Olli

Wurth Mini 1/4" | Passthrough Set (just like @pfbz):

Wurth "Dustproof" 1/2" & 1/4" drive ratchets:

Ya know, these are damn good. The finish is nice, I like the handle and balance, I like the direction switch lever and I like the overall feel. It's a quality design and appears to be very durable. Allllllllll that said...I might return them because of the excessive amount of backdrag. It's noticeable and I'm not sure it's a break-in issue or not. I'm going to run these in a drill for some time and see if they loosen up, but they might go back If they don't. I'm not after Koken / Nepros / KTC levels of backdrag, but I do want them to be close to my Icon/Matco stuff for the money. I have a 3/8" version ordered (not shipped yet) and I'm on the fence on if I should cancel it.

Würth tool box tote, Limited Edition for the ‘24 Europan soccer cup. Regular product# 0962219200

This probably needs a tiny bit of an explanation. “Mach die Kiste” is German (colloquial/ among soccer fans) and means “score the goal”. However “Kiste” can be translated to “box” or “case”. So it’s just a little pun. Colors are self-explanatory I guess. The design is just a sticker.

As far as I know, it’s not an Allit box.

Dust extraction drill bits.

Interchangeable set. (OEM is DreBo) Product# 0648040001
Single 6mm. (OEM is Heller) Product# 0641246022

(Please disregard the original Heller, the lonely adapter sleeve & the expired drill bit, those pictures were taken for a different purpose.)
