Good morning. I'm looking to see some pegboard set ups that above work benches. My set up will primarily be used for automotive hand tools.

Make sure the pegboard is well supported. The weight of tools hanging off them will cause them to warp over time if not sufficiently supported.
Don't hang shelves from them.
What are folks using for hooks that stay put when you pull a tool off? Mine are driving me crazy.

How do you handle dust with a pegboard? In summer, I always have to start the day wiping a fine layer of pollen off the flat surfaces in my house. If allowed to sit on metal, it attracts moisture and causes rust.
Air purifier, I guess? Wouldn't work unless you keep the windows shut.
An acrylic enclosure would be really cool.
I'd like to build one near my desk for smaller tools, but I'm not going around like a victorian-era butler and feather dusting my tools each morning.

I take the tools off the board and use them. Keeps 'em nice and shiny. If they get too dusty, it's probably time to move them elsewhere--they aren't getting enough use to deserve to be on the pegboard.
That's not bad advice, but I'll still have to look into better mitigation. I don't have time to work on my projects during the week (or maybe I don't make time), so everything is going to be left sitting for at least 5 days between uses.
Planning to check back in on this thread for more pictures.
In my last garage, I didn't have a lot of space, so I had lots of pegboard real estate. Sorry no pictures.
I used these to keep the hooks in place:
I've never tried these, but I've heard they work.

I've tried staples. I've tried wiring them down. Still frustrated.

I used to see peg boards with small holes and peg boards with larger holes. Mine had the small holes and I had all the metal hangers for those smaller holes. When we moved here I could only find pegboards with the larger holes. Those didn't suit my needs, so I bought a 4'X8' piece of hardboard, cut it to the size I wantede, laid out a pattern and with a cordless drill I drilled every hole you see in the below picture. I kind of cheated in that I cut the board into three equal pieces and stacked them so only had to drill 1/3 the number of holes you see.
Clearly I need more tools.
A tip: If the hooks easily pop out of the peg board, apply a small dab of clear silicone to the pegboard side of the hook. Once it cures the hook will stay put.

While I had an abundance of pegboard in my last garage, I'm keeping it simple, at least for the moment. I have an abundance of doors and drawers in my new place, so I'm not using much pegboard, yet.
I put plastic pegboard, I wanted metal, but it was OOS in the sizes I needed, above these sections of the workbench.

I've got a ton of pegboard everywhere starting with pressboard and then I moved up to the metal panels from Menards. Now I've started printing out Multiboard Panels, these are displaying some audio and other small collectables like watches and calculators. The Multiboard is a ton of fun, I recently printed watch holders so I could throw those up but most of my items only need shelves.
Multiboard also has normal hole spacing so you can use existing pegboard brackets and hangers. Weight can be an issue, I'm experimenting with shelving for my vintage 70's-80's car radio collection and they're a little heavy without bracing and the supports I find, are too big to let me stack the equipment.
With the free online generator, you can size the panels give or take an inch with a border so they look finished. I put 6.5mm standoffs on mine so I can feed LED's behind in the future. With the online community they make holders and brackets for a ton of tools and you can print any of it in your favorite brand's colors.

This is definitely a work in progress as I fix up this crowded old garage with limited wall space. I'm planning on expanding with more pegboard off to the sides for shorter tools. I need better plier holding solutions, and looking at pictures in this thread is helpful. Keeping wrenches and ratchets in drawers for now, but may hang them when I expand the board area. Just added the under-cabinet light last week, which has been a game changer for bench projects - especially when the occupancy sensor light switch across the garage decides that I'm not actually there...

Another variation on the wooden frames idea.
i bought some tool sets with foam trays and made frames for them, inserted the foam into the frame and hung the frame on the pegboard. They both sit at eye-level and so-far are working out very well. The pegboard is on the same wall as the man-door going into the garage and the first time the door closed the 1/2" socket driver fell on the floor. A HF magnet and some hot glue solved the problem.
This is a really small garage in a second home and there's no room for a rolling tool box, so this will have to do. (Tools I don't use frequently are stored in a tool shed outside) I painted it to match the cabinets and the water heater.
The thing I hate about pegboard is taking tools on and off the board means the hook is likely to disengage and fall out - a PITA. I find buiding little shelves and attaching them with an 'L' shaped screw solves the problem and I can move them around. For tools that come in their own tray like the ladyfingers and calipers, I just stick a drywall screw insert into the pegboard hole and screw the tool case to the pegboard. For the screwdrivers, I thought "screw it" and hot glued the hook into the pegboard.

I'm looking for a creative way to attach something like this to my pegboard. Without screwing it onto the wood itself has anybody come up with a good way to imbed a metal hook into the rack so you can attach it to the pb and still be able to move it around? I'm trying to find a good way to hang my T-style allen wrenches.

Here is what I have used.
These are small eye screws (approx. .135”) that are cut off and bent at a 90 degree angle.
IIRC I had some trail and error to get them to hook into the peg board and hold the block snug to the surface. I have a 5/16” space between the back off the block and the edge of the hook.
Apparently I needed to add the bevel to make this style of hook work.
I must have found that this method worked well on a thicker block as I don’t remember using it anywhere else.
Disclaimer: I suffer from CRS (can’t remember ****) the older I get.
If I was going to mount something similar to the picture you show to pegboard I would probably use an anchor like this Toggler product.
I think you would need to slightly enlarge the 1/4” hole in the pegboard.
Or use a slightly smaller diameter anchor than what I show but IIRC it needs to have a flange.

I've found all of those products to be fidgety and annoying.
Once you like where your pegboard bracket is placed, grab the shortest wood screw you have lying around, and run it into one of the holes your pegboard hook is in. Works like a champ, never comes out, is something you probably already have, and doesn't harm the hole in any meaningful way.
What Proto box is that? I’ve never seen one in those dimensions before.Mine are not above my workbench, but I recently replaced my traditional particle board pegboards with metal Wall Control pegboards and am very happy with them.
Okay thanks! For some reason the perspective made me think it was much deeper box, I thought ~12”.
