Sorry to beg for help in my first post on the forum. Does anyone know the part number of the pin for the flex joint in a F831 ratchet? I’ve tried 2 times to get the pin from Snap-On but they keep sending the spring washer instead. Thanks

I didn’t send pictures. I told them it was a flex head ratchet that had no tension. They agreed it needed the spring washer replaced. I requested a new pin and offered to pay for it. I was told no payment was required. The pin could have made its way out of the box during shipping. The spring washers were just in a bag that wasn’t sealed.

That pin is pressed in. I'm assuming you already know that.

If it made its way out, chances are the handle bore and ratchet head bore are worn out.

I'd box it up and trade it in for an FLF80.

It should be on the packing list if they sent it.
Is your pin damaged? Sometimes the holes in the handle tang will get wallered out. A new washer will help some with tension, but obviously can't fix the play.
