PSA: Check your garage roof...

The title clearly shows that the turtle died of prostate cancer. His PSA was through the roof.

It's a warning for the Garage Journal members: watch your garage roof, and if you see any sign of rising shingles, visit your urologist immediately. Don't be slow as the poor turtle.

Whatever raptor dropped it, probably thought " I ain't eating that dead **** now!" since they don't generally won't eat what had then become carrion.

That is an almost daily occurrence in my area. Crab, clam, mussels, oyster, terrapin- sometimes dropped to crack open, by gulls. They will just land up there and dine, leave the shells behind. I go up quarterly to blow off what the wind hasn't.
I have one guy that comes in the am and will watch me make breakfast.

Our "pet" hawk nearly collided with me while I was on the shop roof this weekend. He was on his way to his usual perch over one of the ponds, and he either wasn't paying attention or thought I shouldn't be up there. Either way, the sudden flapping of wings right behind my head was a little alarming.

Pic from a different time of Mr. Bojangles on one of his favorite perches above the small pond.
