I have an oversized two-car garage that I'm considering putting a double four-post lift in so I can park my two Austin-Healeys over my two daily drivers. I know it's going to be a tight squeeze and I'd like to find a program that would allow me to place the "cube" of the cars on the lift inside the "cube" of the garage to determine if the lift can be positioned to clear all the access doors. Any suggestions?

TinkerCAD. Any basic 3d modeling program can handle cubes (by this, I mean there is no reason to learn Solidworks/Fusion/Creo for just this).

I would just do that with graph paper but that is me not wanting to learn a program.

If you really want to go old school, make a scale drawing of the space, and cut out the lift shapes from another piece of paper (to scale of course). That makes it easy to experiment with placing the cars, or any other large object that may go in the space.

I worked with a draftsman years ago, in the days before CAD, who used that method to place houses on irregularly shaped building lots.
