Storage reel for pressure washer hose?

I'd like to find a storage reel for 100 ft of 0.75 OD pressure washer hose. Really would just like a reel with a stand without any pressure washer connections. I use the 100 footer a couple times a year. A 50 ft is used most of the time.

Something that looks like this would be great: Explorer Aluminum Floor or Wall Mount Garden Hose Reel but cheaper :) since I only want it for storage.

Any ideas?

That's about the going rate for a wall mount garden hose reel. Maybe look for a used one in the usual places. Check ReStore if you have one nearby. I've seen several of the plastic ones with two wheels for around $30 at mine.

Or coil it up and put a couple zip ties around it. Hang it on a hook if you want it on the wall. Will never be cheaper than that.

I was hoping for an out of the box suggestion on a reel. I checked Marketplace in my area and only plastic garden hose reels or used/worn out pressure washer hose reels for almost the price of new. I'll keep looking.

Maybe someone else will chime it.

I've made reels for light duty stuff out of two round pieces of plywood and a few 2x4s.

If I need heavy duty I use old disc blades and weld a piece of 4-5" exhaust pipe in-between.

All basically free depending on what you have laying around.

Cart/spindle/mount just depends on what I'm using it for and also whatever scrap stuff I have laying around.

I found an actual pressure washer hose reel on marketplace for $100. There was another one in worse shape for $180. I think retail new was about $225 so I thought it was worth it. It has surface rust on the stand but the reel doesn't have any. I'm going to clean it up with a wire brush and change the fittings to stainless that I already have.
