I really like the USA made Milwaukee screwdrivers. They look very similar to the not USA made but they feel different to me. Close enough I might buy some in a pinch, but I bought a full set (of which I am aware) of the USA made drivers.Needed a big screwdriver I could put a wrench on for a seized 1/0 lug with a flat head screw. Have them at home but not on the work truck. Ran out and got a Husky and USA made Milwaukee at the orange store down the street. It was all for naught as the lug simply ripped out the aluminum threads before it came loose. The Milwaukee screw driver is actually pretty nice.

Love the CAT sockets and plier set... I bought a bunch as well, also some CAT/SO impacts...
I was in Lidl last night and saw they had a cordless rotary hammer for $39 less the batteries. That is insanely cheap for a rotary hammer. You can't even come close to buying a corded rotary hammer for that price. Curious about the quality but for a homeowner it's probably good enough.

You definitely don't want any Dunning - Kruger "experts" help here.

Just a reminder, the Cat "SHOPTOOL20" 20% off all tools deal says it ends March 31. No idea if they are going to extend it, but if you want some, might be time to pull the trigger...
Started reloading. Enjoyable and relaxing plus for me at 500 rounds the equipment is paid for. That won't take long as I'm well on my way. FYI for me savings is a little over 50% per round. I shoot match grade. At present I'm doing 6.5 mm Remington Magnum (Ammo no longer available) and 6 mm Creedmoor. Both custom rifles.

Cat ratchets that I've seen are Williams low tooth count (but look much like snapon) and their newer ones are Stahlwille rebrands... They used to offer a actual Snap-On ratchet, 3/8" flex, wasn't even rebranded it actually said snap on, but it has been removed from their catalog and website.NO, not always! Check first.
I bought a "Caterpillar" branded 1/4" drive ratchet from an ebay seller who said "doesn't work".
For $8 bucks, I figured I'd take a chance.
Disassembled, lubed, reassembled - worked like a charm.
My buddy added it to his Tekton kit.

I went over some of the cat stuff I picked up here:
And here:
It was a little teardrop-head model, but did not have the David Chapman handle - the handle was just a straight round shank with knurling.Cat ratchets that I've seen are Williams low tooth count
My new c3 arrived today
Really like the pushbutton locking extensions, I have some cheapo Craftsman ones in 1/4" and prefer them to the collar style. Might have to consider the Stahlwilles for the future as an upgrade!Received my Stahlwille locking and wobble extensions from Mister Worker today. I can retire my Mastercraft ones other than the 20" as Stahlwille doesn't make long ones except for a 18" 3/8 but the price is more than double.
Brand new. I couldn’t find a used one.is that new new or restored / new to you?
they are much much nicer. I bought all the craftsman ones as well because the price was so low. But I immediately regret the purchase. I didnt imagine there could be much difference but there really is.Really like the pushbutton locking extensions, I have some cheapo Craftsman ones in 1/4" and prefer them to the collar style. The Craftsman ones have been working well for me in 1/4". They're slender, they don't drop sockets, and they seem to fit pretty well without too much slop (mainly with Snap On sockets/ratchets). I don't think they'd do so hot with a lot of torque so that's been part of why I'm interested in something different or nicer. Did yours have issues?they are much much nicer. Functionally no complaints, haven't used them much, but I didn't have any concerns in that regard. The buttons are a little sticky and protrude very far. Don't feel as smooth to push in. Its just a refinement thing really. Having already had some Stahlwille ones, I just noticed a contrast in that. I suppose for many people, the difference is probably negligible. They just "feel" better lmao, for whatever thats worth. The Craftsman ones have been working well for me in 1/4". I used this in my shop today and realized I don't think I had mentioned it here. Bought a floor squeegee. Went to the big box hardware store and was tickled to find three levels of seriousness/strength involved. The $16ish Libman looked too wimpy, the most expensive one looked more sturdy than I'll be needing, and Rubbermaid sold the mid-grade one at $30.50ish.
Water on the floor? Away wi' ye! Out the garage door! (And/or, spread thin enough to evaporate soon.)
