What happened to all the Lista from a few years ago - did that all get used too? Also, just wondering, what does your dad say about your time spent on non-family business stuff? At one time, it sounded like you were expected to drop all anytime something came up he wanted done. (answer optional, NOMFB :) )
It is still like that, but he has been busy doing some other stuff. I have been over to his place a couple times each week and keep him moving forward.

Tomorrow the little router will have a home for the time being. We too k a bunch of measurements and tried to rationalize several locations, ok, only three, but we figured out the best spot. Now all I have to do is move just about everything again, at least most of it is on wheels.

Apparently the weather guessers changed their minds sometime yesterday, so essentially we are now getting minimal slop instead of maximum snow. Looks like the rest of the week may be better as well. At least I found out in time and didn’t put the plow in the truck.

I am slowly motivating today, the last couple weeks are weighing heavily on my back. I have a few things to do that shouldn’t be too taxing and I would like to at least feel somewhat productive today.

For the first time I got burned by a seller on Marketplace, drove an hour and they said the item is already sold, except it was sitting right in front of me. Still refused to sell it to me, said they needed to give the "buyer" a chance and would contact me if it fell through. I told them forget it, I am no longer interested in dealing with you at all.

Have to help Dad again today, doing some air compressor plumbing and electrical work for the plasma cutter at his shop.

It happens, sometimes. By far, most of the folks I have dealt with on MP and CL have been very nice to deal with, but I got burned once, too. Long drive to western Maine to get a trailer. Trailer was locked to a tree, and no one was home. I also do not give folks a second chance.

I left a one star review as well, the entire thing just rubbed me the wrong way.

The electricians were at Dad's shop and I decided not to get in their weigh, so I called it a deigh and got in my sleigh...

Except not really, I am now at the Salvage Garage and I have help coming, been moving so much around, there are several cabinets that are empty after all the stuff in them was puked everywhere. Time to clean up the mess!

Yesterday did not turn out how I expected. My buddy showed up and we were figuring out what to save off the control boxes we were dismantling, then he asks, did you see the new listing for the smaller CNC router? I said probably and that I didn't care, then he mentioned it was in need of a computer and he thought that it was a robust unit. Of course I had to look, it was an awesome looking thing, so we went to actually look at it. Much better than anything I have seen, at least in a smaller size. Of course the guy was moving shops and he started offering lots of free stuff, I said no to the old computer printer, but yes to everything else...

Anyways, now the space we cleaned is full and there is another mess, I need to get banned from Facebook and then marketplace won't be a problem anymore. I forgot, there was a forklift I wanted to look at and it ended up being 0.2 miles from where the router was, probably going to buy that too. The coolest and most coincidental part was that the guys are moving their shop from Mass to Maine, about 5 miles from the Salvage Garage and they are cool people, we shot the **** for over an hour and could have talked all night but we all had to be some where.

We keep making space, I thought I was out yesterday before I even started thinking about more stuff. Of course today was the day to make another deal on oddball things, I am buying a smaller CNC laser welder and a small laser engraver. Most likely there will be some other things that follow me home, but I am going to try and be better.

This weekend is going to be a long one, helping my buddy on Saturday move a bunch of diesel test benches out of a shop into his space. Of course one is going home with me, not sure where I am going to put it, will have to make some room today. Sunday morning I am picking up a dead electric forklift, then there is easter dinner, make your own pizzas??? I am serious, that is what the family is doing, whatever.

The CNC pizza maker was a nice touch!

The injection test “bench” is slightly larger than anticipated, but it has arrived.

Now I just need to find some space, tomorrow is supposed to be raining all day, luckily where the forklift I am picking up is located there is the perfect window to not get too wet. Hopefully the weather stays the way the guessers think.
