Leeson 7.5 HP Single Phase Parts Search

In my travels picked up a nice 7.5 HP leeson single phase compressor motor.
It runs well, but has a severly damaged capacitor box made from cast aluminum.

Model number: P215K17FB2G
Catalog number: 140130.00

I have ordered and returned from Leeson a replacement capacitor box that matches current production units. This was made from Steel and had a different angle where it mounted to motor making adaptation impossible.
Mounting pattern and hole location were also differnent.

Anyone know of source for used parts? the dimensions of the box roughly are 8.5 lg, 7 wd, 4.5 tall.

If you can't find one, you can buy a generic electrical box at any big box home center. The capacitors can be remotely-mounted a short distance away from the motor as well.

the OEM leeson is cast aluminum and thats whats cracked in 4 areas....

in fall of 2024 - i actually found the exact Aluminum Capacitor box. later this year, i will install / repaint the complete motor.
