That’s fantastic!! What a great job you are doing
Minor details.I took it for a little over 2 mile drive yesterday. It was flawless except for not having a windshield.
So where does the shoulder mount attach ? Roof line since there's no B-pillar ?

Is that a factory mount or did you have to fab something up ? I would have thought factory would have just been a lap belt.
This car is simply a 2016 Mustang with a 67 Fairlane body. There happened to be a hole in the Fairlane that was in the right place for the Mustang belts to mount. There was a larger square hole around four inches away. I welded an M10 nut to a piece of 1/8" plate, slid it into place and plug welded it to the Fairlanes inner structure. Is that a factory mount or did you have to fab something up ? . I put a pressure switch in the left rear brake line where I extended it to make the brake lights work. I'm going to order some stock Mustang tail lights and mount them in the outer trunk area and plug them in. Hopefully this will cure a my cruise control problem.-"Simply".This car is simply a 2016 Mustang with a 67 Fairlane body.
The Adaptive cruise usually uses a windshield mounted camera. Are you sure it's in the grill?I'm interested in the tail light dilemma also. I'm transplanting a '15 mustang into a '63 F100 using all the mustang components and want all the mustang operational features to work. I don't think the active cruise will work unless I can put the unit with clear line of sight but that will be difficult with all metal grill and bumper instead of plastic.
Pretty sure that it's radar based. It is on a prior VW and current Honda. The Adaptive cruise usually uses a windshield mounted camera.
I shouldn't have just said camera, but the sensor is in the windshield for many carsPretty sure that it's radar based. It is on a prior VW and current Honda.
The adaptive cruise doesn't work on the 2 vehicles I have had with it, if the radar sensor is covered with snow.I shouldn't have just said camera, but the sensor is in the windshield for many cars
I actually ordered some Mustang taillights earlier and they’re huge. The only way to take them apart is to warm them up on an oven. I sent them back though I ordered them again and plan on storing them away in the trunk.Sounds like you got lucky with the seat belt mount.
As a future project, do you think you could graft a stock Mustang tail light to a repo Fairlane light?
Pretty sure the taillights have a circuit board in them and the BCM communicates with them. What is different about the mistake tail lights? Do you have wiring diagrams? Let’s see if we can help you simulate them. You have gone too far with This project not to. The car looks great!
