A miss order from Amazon caused a new order placed today along with something for the wife.
I just did the same job on an X3 chasing an evap error. Aren't they so much fun to work on?N55
The BMW belongs to a buddy of mine.
Did I mention how much I like dealing with old brittle plastic?
It is a process and I try to not compare work that I did 4+ decades ago to today's repairs. However, the early 60's man in me sometimes has me wishing for simpler times, but, my active brain likes the challenge and learning new things. I just wonder when the intersection of a declining body and mind will hit me and cause me to say, "no I am not doing that anymore". Of course I will fight the good fight for as long as possible.I just did the same job on an X3 chasing an evap error. Aren't they so much fun to work on?

That is exactly what I got it for. I like it's compact size.Ya know, this gets some hate on social media, but I don't think it's bad for what it is. It's low powered but If found it useful for light hardware in engine bays and interiors.
Rumors about a possible forward/reverse designs coming next (without the need to flip it over).
I had ordered a shallow 3/8" socket... needed a 3/8" deep well...both 1/4" drive. I put the one I needed in my Jungle cart. The wife ordered some lights for her grapevine tree, so she placed the order. Can't wait to see what you ordered that necessitated a pre-emptive gift purchase for your wife!

Is that the PBN500 non-marring prybar set?

A lot of hate on that ratchet but I think people using as everyday ratchet and breaker bar which it is not.Couple Knick knacks to see what works or doesn’t.
Off the wall flex head hex rat. I’m looking for something to go in my wera kits and the dimensions fit the bill. The actions a bit rough but maybe it’ll lube up. It’s only for back up on the rare occasions I can’t get enough torque from the screwdriver handle.
And while searching for some long security torx drivers I came upon this set which advertised being S2 steel with a machined tip and impact rated. All that for low-low price of $16….i hope nobody minds if I don’t hold my breath. **** ya never know right?
And yesterday I saw one of us posted this GW. For $20 I figured I’d give it a shot.
After checking it out I realized I made a HUGE MISTAKE..
I should have bought two so I could use them as chopsticks at the local gas station sushi bar

Well it’s pretty damn petite for a breaker bar and ya I’d agree it sure wouldn’t be my go to as a daily. Picture don’t do the length justice so I suppose it’ll just become one of those “ya never know” tools.A lot of hate on that ratchet but I think people using as everyday ratchet and breaker bar which it is not.
I knew they were screwdrivers and they looked like their set of 24" cabinet screwdrivers. Not gonna lie, I looked quickly and assumed those were prybars too...

That Geinxurn stuff ain't half bad considering the price... I don't have that exact tool, but several others I got for dirt cheap on Amazon.Couple Knick knacks to see what works or doesn’t.

I won't get into a debate, but you are going to need to strip that to bare metal again and then treat it with something like Metal Prep by Por 15. And then sand it off and go forward.
You can sand off the rust, but it's almost always going to come back- you need to chemically kill it.
I don't have those exact ones, but two different Tsunoda zip tie cutters, both are superb and as nice as most twice their price.

Yes, I have the 125 version. They're good like everything else from their King TTC line.Has anyone used these $16 Tsunoda / JDM flush cutters?
