I purchased a pallet of Scan tools wanting a Mac Mentor Pro.
Now I have several Snap-On and a Sun tool to play with if I can find or make cables.

1 Snap-on Counselor MT1665 (powered up)
3 Snap-on Counselor II (2 of the 3 powered up)
1 Snap-on Scribe II MT3010_Lumy/Mag II MT1480 (powered up and makes a noise, shows "cover open")
2 Snap-on MT3100 4-Gas Exhaust Analyzer (Power?)
1 SUN DGA 1000 (No Power?)
1 MAC MENTOR PROSnap-On All 40.jpg

Do you have a MT2500?
I don't. I I've won 4 bids on the Mac Mentor Pro meters with the newest software to 2012. They stopped support in 2015 and some day I will find that upgrade to use on my 2015 Silverado. My other 2 vehicles are a 2007 Dodge Ram and 2007 Dodge Durango that I won the bids at govdeals. The Mac Mentor Pro works well on them.

It would be easy to find out why one Counselor 2 is not powering up. System is modular so you can swap internal components with the good parts until you find the problem. DGA1000 I heard can be problematic, because it has very unreliable motherboard. MT3100 units are the ones with biggest value, people want them who have Counselor 2 cabinets without them. Only way to know if they work is to connect them to Counselor 2 then power them up, you should hear the air pump running.
