My first gen 120 XP ratchet recently met its match while trying to loosen some suspension bolts. I've emailed Gearwrench, and they've been generous enough to warranty the ratchet.

However, I think this head might be saved if I could find a different handle. Does anyone have a suggestion on where to buy just a ratchet handle?

I tried to fit one of my Snap On handles on this head, but the Gearwrench head is slightly wider.

Apex aside from making Gearwrench tools also makes them for Duralast, Husky, Master Mechanic, and many others. You can try sourcing a donor handle one of their ratchets or breaker bars even since they will most likely have a clone of the GW ratchet. Maybe a flea market or cheap pawn shop? What's the width on that ratchet?

Grind it down to fit. Even if you fork it up, it's not like you're out anything.

You can try this Husky flex head, its about 11mm and also has the same style detents for the flex. I found this at a flea market for $1 because it didn't have the switch but I had a spare switch from a Duralast ratchet and then I cut the handle down to make it a stubby.

Nice catch! I'll see if I can snag one cheap around here at the local flea market.
