Hi, considering throwing up a bid or two for this craftsman 103 with a 1/2 hp belt drive motor. Anyone have thoughts on these? I'm looking to replace my rinky dink 9" benchtop bandsaw.. but it's a want rather than a need. Theres a scroll saw lumped in, as well.

The tensioning on that model is adjusted from the inside, and has a lever action. While it works great for repeatability, it does become somewhat awkward to change often (compared to the 24280 before it). The pedestal is a nice find with it, those are fairly rare.

I would also look around if you win for the fence, as it has the bracket for the fence attached. The fence is identical to one of the smaller jointers CM made

The other part I forgot to mention is that "touch-ups" are fairly hard to match. Mine had a black, almost bed-liner style material on it, which while durable, made it almost impossible to "feather" scratches/chips.

Both the 24260 and 24280 are good models, depending on what you want. The pedestals are fairly rare for these. There is also the Atlas 12" (Power King) and the Delta 14". Duro and WT both ones this size as well, but not as familiar with those.

Anyone seen one of these before? Looks like a delta clone
You might want to steal the pictures and post them here. Many people are FB phobic, and won’t click your link.

I would say Taiwanese made, like thousands of other brands. Not a Delta clone as far as quality of build, or strength, from having looked at other Taiwanese saws in the past. Lack of rigidity for resawing would be my concern.
