For those who don’t know, corn cob holders are one of the easiest and quickest ways to pierce potatoes before baking. (To prevent the potato from exploding for those who don’t bake).
You can put a dozen holes in a potato way easier than using an average fork.

I'll take your word for it that it's easier. But for me it'll take much longer to do so. I'd have to find the corn cob holders first. Forks are everywhere.

Other day I made a corn on the cob and I looked for the holders, couldn't find them fast enough so I used a fork to hold it so I could cut the corn off the cob (after cooking and while hot) for my elderly mother who'd have trouble eating it on the cob. I know she has an actual tool that's specifically made to cut the corn off the cob somewhere, as I've used it for her in the past. Again, I couldn't find it fast enough so I used a knife. Of course she "knows" where it is. Yeah, corn will be cold and dry by the time it's found in those kitchen drawers. She collected a lot of kitchen tools over the years.

looks like this one.

I have some heavy soldering coming up rebuilding an alternator. I just wish Weller would pull their heads out and make the switch work like it should--low/high instead of high/low. It's hard to keep the trigger pulled only halfway when I want full heat.

Speaking of stupid tool advertising, what the hell is that guy doing to that poor motor?

That looks functional.
Also, practical, since i don’t really like dealing with corn still on the cob.
Corn cob holders are fairly small though, and I keep one in a top drawer as a general piercing implement for things like potatoes.
That corn cob stripper is the kind of thing I would have buried and not be able to find.

It works for a 75lbs, 10 y/o rambunctious boy that is my son:
^ Okay, so what I want to know is:
Are those going to work if I want to do the Jason-Statham-hanging-upside-down-underneath-the-glass-bottom-swimming-pool-55-stories-above-street-level trick?

I'm ready to take out a loan here if the answer is what I want to hear.

How strong are your arms? How long can you hold a full pull-up?
