I'm hoping someone can help me identify three mechanical antique car/truck jacks I recently found at the home of my in-laws. I believe these date to the 1920s. Are these collectible? I love their mechanical actions but don't think I'd ever use when working on a modern vehicle.IMG_3085.jpegIMG_3083.jpeg

Those are cool. There's something about these jacks that I love. All of them are considered screw jacks.
Likely dates are from the 1920's to the 1930's.

As for collectability, There might be some that collect them for period correct cars.
Other than that they make cool shelf pieces. (Unless you're like me and have one displayed next to your fireplace)
You'll also see that so many people refer them as Ford model A or T jacks,
But for the most part I see them for sale anywhere from $15 to $40.

The last one is made by Walker but I assume you knew that. I have a Model A and use a scissor jack from the 60's. I have a few old jacks like this but don't use them due to their really narrow foot print.

After restoring this 1920’s Firetruck jack I presented it to Senator Ben Nighthorse Campbell RIP as he didn't have one for his 20’s Chevy Firetruck. I’m sure he never got to use it.IMG_6735.png

Are these collectible?
We just had this conversation in another thread.
Yes, there is something of a collector market for vintage jacks, but it is a very narrow market niche.
Every American automobile produced (up until recently) came with a jack.
Additionally, there have been a number of automotive jack manufacturers in country since the early 1900s.
Ergo: the market is somewhat glutted.
There are a number of "Jack" threads here - if you use the "search" function and search "Jack" (by title only) you will get no fewer than eighteen pages of search results.
