That organizer, plus wrenches, for $11?! YOU ****!I went to get street numbers for a sale that starts at 10. On my way home, I saw a sign for a garage sale a couple streets from my house. Went home, had coffee and then went to the garage sale. I found a set of four Durham type boxes with the frame and ball bearing slides and a partial set of Craftsmam forged (not stamped) ignition wrenches. &11.
The estate sale, that I got numbers for, starts in 25 minutes.

Don't worry nothing has changed about those canteens since then! Luckily now they issue you a "camel back" canteen which imo was a ***** to clean. The few guys that still carry the old style canteens into the field usually piss in them..I can sympathize, - I could never get over the plastic smell of the Vietnam era canteens - much less the taste of the water.

The 880 is the single-pump pneunatic? I had the pistol version many years ago--1980. It bagged a lot of cottontail for the stewpot while doing a head job on a 318 in a '62 D100 in a campground in Moab.Estate sale ($40): Thompson water seal (nib); Cabela's waterfowl waist pack; JVC FS-5000 stereo player; Duracell batteries; Daisy 880 bb gun (1984-87) w/ Weaver D4 scope; Apple wireless keyboard.
Lot's of estate sales, but not much of interest. Hopefully, things will pick up week, not that I'm complaining about the 880 and scope.

I am really excited about the Xcelite rack. I may need to hunt down a full set, and switch out my Proto nut drivers (which are made by Xcelite).

Big in cement floor anchors (would be well over $10 alone), lots of plumbing fittings, hardware of all types…Um... What were the "contents" that came with the $10 organizers (that you stole)???

I agree, D-99 *****!Based on drill bits alone, YOU ****.
It's multi-pump. Hard to believe that was over 45 years ago. Then again places like Moab don't seem to ever change. The 880 is the single-pump pneunatic? I had the pistol version many years ago--1980. You ****! Please post those on the Bonney thread.
Found at a swap meet yesterday. Paid all of four dollars for ‘em.
The old metal cash register is a cool old toy Probably from the 1950’s. While clearing out some storage we found my wife’s cash register so I cleaned it up and put it on eBay expecting some bidding. It ended up selling for the opening bid of only $10.
The Cetronia community yard sale yielded some minor finds. (forgot the tie bar in group pic) $21.75 for all.

Tiny chromed jewelers vise.
Bummer. I see about 30 similar ones have sold on eBay since January, mainly $10-20, with a few around $30.

Nice I have the blue version of that box!I ended up going back to yestedays sale, to see if I could find any of the nut drivers for that rack. Well, when I got there they had put up a bid 50% OFF sign, which made me grab something I found too expensive yesterday.
Weaver B6 scope in N2 mount, two P&C nut drivers, Xclite nut driver, S&W sight screw driver, and leatherette case. The Weaver was what I passed on yesterday, but today it was priced in my range (and I was surprised it was still there), I never see P&C nut drivers, and those will go to friend who collects that brand, and the S&W will pay for everything. $22.50 out the door.
After that, dog park, and then off to a sale around the corner.
and another great selection of old US made tools! Box for a Craftsman push drill, Herbrand clutch driver and extension, Blue Point BS tappet, misc. sockets (Snap-on, Cornwell, Plomb), MAC line wrench, Cornwell ratchet, Snap-on early driver bit, Cornwell wobble, bushing driver set, unmarked 1/4 socket box, Plomb 3/8 socket box, Stanley spoke shave, and Snap-on igintion wrench leatherette.
I also picked up this box
full of old fishing gear, it has the label of Hinsdale, so no way was I going to pass on it
All of that for $13.

In my best Homer Simpson voice: DOH!You mean Anvil?

Nice haul. You ****!I had a really good day for tools for a one ES stop Friday.
Went there on the second day not expecting this box to be there and even though I could only see the box a a silhouette:
I was pretty sure of what it was if it was still there. It was but I wasn't enamored of the price until I also saw what was in it, and had gathered some loose tools (that some of which were probably in the box before bring dump in the $2 bin)
I have two others of these carry boxes and they are tanks. Made in the 30's (we think) but depute quite a bit of effort we are still not sure which company made them. Mine are all unmarked, but others are: Butler marked on one, and another has both. Southern /stove works, and QUALITY TIN~TOP METAL PRODUCTS Richmond Virginia so jury still out on who actually made these:
The box, and the misc. tools I grabbed:
Stuff inside as found:
The Plvmb 1/4" box
Which has a few 9/32nds, drive tools (special size for the military - at least one socket marked WF (Wright Field)
And sorted: Plvmb in the trays 3 long C Craftsman, some Duro...
Sorted, and none were bad, 2 were stamped steel but still marked USA.
Wrenches - Plvmb lower left 3 Williams DBE, one P&C DBE diagonal. New Britain and 3 Script Herbrand marked upper right.
Pliers: Krauter cut off bent NN. "Special" (so marked) Crescent Slip joints. Pexto, big Billings Slip joints, H&M "Straight line", and the odd vise grips are Seymour Smith Snap lock
Drivers: the 2 perfect handle are marked Germany, the others are not branded but the longer wood handled driver has a Stanley "tell". the wrench at the bottom I missed in the other pic, its an Indestro from "Autokit" types sets.
And some misc stuff, Folding rule broke off to a foot, bath valve socket, 2 spoke wrenches, triangle file ,Feeler gauges, and one is Brass.
The guy in the garage discounted some, and the ES Co. owner discounted again to an even $50, so well under a buck per tool, or box!
