I bought these on a whim last October and put them away in the pliers drawer. I took them out a couple time for various tasks and am so impressed with their versatility and usefulness that they aren't going back in the drawer. They're staying out on the bench where I keep a few often used tools. Great for pulling pins and clips. Capable of gripping round objects. Very heavily made. Two positional. They aren't a life changing thing but I'm so impressed I thought I would pass it along to the rest of the tool crazies here on GJ.

EDIT: They also come in bent nose configuration which I'm pretty sure will be in my possession before too long.

You can get the same pliers $10 cheaper from a small family owned store for $19.95. They also have the bent nose for $22.50

I've always wanted a set of the Snap-On's but out of my budget. Very nice pliers.
HF Icon slip joint needle nose can be had for less than $20 when they run 40% off sale. I picked up a pair a few weeks ago. Not sure how I would like them. They worked great for the spring clamps on the lawnmower fuel filters. And worked nicely to pick the plastic bits out of the oil filter housing on my Jeep 3.6 Pentastar when the relief valve grenaded. So far they’ve been good.
I will have to pass... I am not a USA made snob but this company didn't even bother to translate the letters...
Uh they’re Japanese pliers. The packaging is in Japanese too. It’s translated to English in the parentheses (I assume, didn’t double check it with Google translate)

That's all well and good, but when you add shipping it's pretty much a wash.

Poor silly fools! all they did was make exceptional set of pliers at a great price.

But to be clear, are you boycotting the brand or Amazon, not sure who royally fux up and didn't translate this for you????

I have a few different Japanese made pliers from different companies. The ones that come on a card all had their text in Japanese. It seemed odd to me too but it doesn't affect the quality or the usefulness. I personally think the Japanese pliers are excellent tools.

The last parking lot sale. They were 35% off, not 40. Not much difference between the two discounts on $30.

Is it weird that Knipex or Snap-On sold in Japan uses ISO basic Latin alphabet letters on the packaging?
