Awesome. Thanks for the heads up.In photo 1730, the screw driver in the corner is a Smith and Wesson sight adjuster. They sell for good money on eBay.

Just a free suggestion here . Plexiglass attracts dust and is harder to clean. I'd go with real glass as my first option. This vintage Case knife display cabinet it’s from the mid 70s. I believe this is the date 11/77 thats stamped in inside the cabinet.
I purchased this on a social media forum.
What was amazing it was 1.1 miles from my house. Since there wasn’t a key I made one.
The glass is missing and I think plexiglass will work.
I paid less than Franklin for it.

I won 3 lots at an OA last night, scheduled pickup this morning. I haven’t had time yet to inventory everything but figured I would post the pics. 1st lot was a Kennedy 520 machinist toolbox. Looks to be in very good shape, no key. I have been wanting one for a while now but was too cheap to pay what most people wanted. Total price including fees $45. Here are the pictures with what was in the drawers.
Went to an estate sale today and spent 5 HOURS digging! It's going to take me a bit to sort through all the stuff I bought but my best deal was probably this Rigid 18 Volt stuff. Vacuum, brushless hammer drill, 1/4" hex driver, 1/2" impact, Power Module for charging cell phones, 4 batteries and 2 chargers. $20 FOR ALL OF IT!
Round 1, as promised. Teaser pics for now...
Big shout-out to our younger son (15) for helping me get all of this out and loaded. Took me an hour to sort, another 90 minutes to load and tie down. Lots of stuff spead across two buildings.
Round 2 tomorrow, and I'll bring the trailer Monday just in case.
Mike
Round 2, as promised. More teaser pics...
That's a 6-inch, no-name Chineseum vise. Only took it because it's MUCH bigger than anything I own, which are all antique family heirlooms.
Worked alone this time, spent around 3 hours sorting and organizing, then another hour loading. I don't mind working in the dark, but could have done without the rain that started as soon as I began loading...
More to come tomorrow!
Mike
Round 3 today:
Total FREEBIE haul (so far):
Several stainless steel tables, two stainless carts, a couple of other carts, a bunch of Metro wire storage racks, two steel bookshelves, an all-plastic (Rubbermaid) storage cabinet, a flammables cabinet, two small ladders, a step stool, several heavy-duty plastic pallets, and some building supplies (unistrut, plastic pipe: both of various sizes). Plus the 6-inch vise (in the truck).
Most valuable item (to me) is a lift table (woo hoo!) that needs new casters and a paint job, but lifts and lowers, and doesn't appear to leak!
There may be a few more items available later. I missed out on a few things that I really wanted (they relocated some stuff, and auctioned a lot of others), but this is pretty good.
Mike
Round 4 today...
Pallet racks (3 vertical, so 2 bays), will need to cut them down to fit in the basement. These were sold at auction as part of a bigger package, but the buyer ran out of room in his truck. WIN FOR ME!!!
More miscellaneous building supplies and some pallets (that are probably best as bonfire wood).

Came with a D8H-46A, among others.Looks like a set from a Caterpillar tractor.
Back in the mid-70's I worked for a guy that owned a Pinto station wagon with the fake wood panels. It was a very good car, and held up to a lot of abuse. We called it the "Country Squirt."you bought 2 Jerry cans to get to 10 gallons...
I have a rack I made to stack 3 boat tanks on my eagle trailer's front cargo deck I added to it. works great.
Add a locking steel strap to replace one of the web straps, I lost a Jerry can off the back of my Samurai. one cut adn ot was gone...
Pintos and Vegas were Ford and GM's initial response to the Japanese invasion. My 71 coupe was one of the best cars I ever had, Totally reliable and great gas mileage, near 40 MPG to and from sacraments several times. it was a great car to have during the Gas crises...
I cut the offending bolts short and replaced the stock bumper with some 3X 1-1/2 channel after a rear ender destroyed my bumper, and I wanted to be able to tow a trailer. - All with the 75 HP 1600
I would not mind finding a 71 wagon with the 1600 to pick up as a DD. Not many left...

That "Truth thingy" is likely a valve guide remover for Ford Model A/B or Flathead V-8 engines.I made a list of three sales I wanted to hit this AM and headed out. First was the sale I hit yesterday, to see what was left. It had been picked over pretty hard inbetween my stops, but some treasures were still to be had
Small rawhide mallet, bit-brace reamer, empty tin of Pennzoil door ease, Blue Point inspection mirror, screw gauge, drill index, Xcelite nut driver stand, wrenches (Snap-on, Milwaukee tool and forge), Kraeuter ignition pliers, electrical connectors, Truth thingy, Thorsen socket, along with
this full-grained cowhide camera case (to be repurposed as a range bag).
The second stop was a family run sale, with all my dislikes of those. The CL ad showed a garage with a five drawer Pressteel mid box, which was what I was after. I made a beeline for it, checked the drawers, which opened buttery smooth, and saw it was filled with tools, which all the other boxes shown and still there were too. I started to make my way to find a price for it, and some guy starts yelling "That is not for sale. None of the tools are for sale". Which happens far too often at family run sales. So, I got in my truck and headed off, as everything else they were selling was trash, literally. This is the ad, by the way. You can see what I mean https://salem.craigslist.org/gms/d/salem-hello-everyone-starting-another/7929234674.html
So, after that, I stopped at the local Restore, where I found two screw starters, and an Orchard Park Xcelite (shown above). After that, I checked out a couple more sales, found nothing of interest, and headed home.

I thank you for that information.Just a free suggestion here . Plexiglass attracts dust and is harder to clean. I'd go with real glass as my first option.

Gah!
