Carbide tooth blades are expensive. For one of them, lol?
Maybe for some. I don't reach for a sawzall for cutting metal all that often, mainly a portaband or a horizontal bandsaw.Carbide tooth blades are expensive.
And worth it
its not my main choice for just cutting metal either.Maybe for some. I don't reach for a sawzall for cutting metal all that often, mainly a portaband or a horizontal bandsaw.
When I do use a sawzall I actually want a thin flexible blade because it's normally cutting a stuck bolt between bushings or shackes with minimal clearance between them.its not my main choice for just cutting metal either.
I've never reached for my sawzall to cut metal either but I got 3 for $18.90 so what the heck? Maybe I'll like itMaybe for some. I don't reach for a sawzall for cutting metal all that often, mainly a portaband or a horizontal bandsaw.
NoDo those blades only fit DeWalt saws? My gummy has kicked in so just verifying…
I use mine to cut square tubing fairly often.I've never reached for my sawzall to cut metal either but I got 3 for $18.90 so what the heck? Maybe I'll like it![]()

Love mine. Got it brand new for $100 from a coworker.$349 DEWALT 20V MAX* 7-1/4-Inch Sliding Miter Saw, Cordless (DCS361M1) (includes 4Ah battery and charger)
Looks like they're price-matching this deal of the day at home depot so if one is out of stock try the other.
https://www.murdochs.com/products/a...alt-tough-series-construction-jack-dwht83550/Cabinet jacks are going BOGO at Murdoch's. Starting on May 1 (part of their DeWalt Deals days). Not sure how competitive the price is, just saw the ad and knew they were popular.
Extensions @ toolup for $38 +shipping, see up thread.Just ordered the DeWalt Construction Jack, but didn't see the DeWalt DWHT83554 extensions available on the Murdock website, it is available on other websites for $49 with shipping in the middle of May.
All the online stores are just taking pre-orders. They don't seem to have made it out into the wild yet.I need to go to my local Murdoch's today, so if people want, I can see if they are available in store at least (extensions/pads).

Last night placed order
They took my money
Today they cancelled the order and in process of refunding the money.
While it would be nice if they honored that price, it does look a lot like a pricing error.Mine got canceled also, so I called to ask why. I was told that inventory is placed on the sales floor and entered into the computer, but the computer doesn't know how many are in customers' hands until they check out at the register. Then the computer reduces the quantity. When an order is placed online, a salesperson goes to the shelf to pull the item, but it's all gone, so they cancel the order. I asked if my order could be put on backorder, but was told they don't have a way to do that in their system. Then I asked whether the "deal" would be honored when the items come back in stock, but she said she would have to ask and get back to me in a day or two. My guess is they might have gotten a special deal on the initial stocking order, and it will be up to DeWalt to determine whether they get a second bite at the apple.
If your order gets canceled, please let us know. How many people bought them online, and how many GJ members' orders were filled or canceled?

It's automated. No one minded because no one was involvedThey didn’t mind taking my money. Eventually refunded.
I know but in today’s online world lack of a live inventory is a problem. It's automated. No one minded because no one was involved
