I've never reached for my sawzall to cut metal either but I got 3 for $18.90 so what the heck? Maybe I'll like it :ROFLMAO:

Cabinet jacks are going BOGO at Murdoch's. Starting on May 1 (part of their DeWalt Deals days). Not sure how competitive the price is, just saw the ad and knew they were popular.

I just ordered the DeWalt Construction Jack, but didn't see the DeWalt DWHT83554 extensions available on the Murdock website. They are available on other websites for $ 49.99 with shipping in the middle of May. Also available will be a pad set for $9.99.

All the online stores are just taking pre-orders. They don't seem to have made it out into the wild yet.

Last night placed order

They took my money

Today they cancelled the order and in process of refunding the money.

They canceled my order also. I'm not surprised really. 2 Jack's, bought and shipped for under $100. It was an extremely good deal.

Mine got canceled also, so I called to ask why. I was told that inventory is placed on the sales floor and entered into the computer, but the computer doesn't know how many are in customers' hands until they check out at the register. Then the computer reduces the quantity. When an order is placed online, a salesperson goes to the shelf to pull the item, but it's all gone, so they cancel the order. I asked if my order could be put on backorder, but was told they don't have a way to do that in their system. Then I asked whether the "deal" would be honored when the items come back in stock, but she said she would have to ask and get back to me in a day or two. My guess is they might have gotten a special deal on the initial stocking order, and it will be up to DeWalt to determine whether they get a second bite at the apple.
If your order gets canceled, please let us know. How many people bought them online, and how many GJ members' orders were filled or canceled?

While it would be nice if they honored that price, it does look a lot like a pricing error.
Seems like they couldn't decide between BOGO (50% off) and a straight 40% off, and ended up applying both for 70% off.
70% off is an awfully deep discount for something not on clearance.

I ordered the jacks on Friday night and received the cancelation email very early this morning. Reached out to customer service and was told that it was limited to stock on hand and the sale runs until the 10th so to just keep trying... Yeah, no thanks. Requested my account to be deleted and my information they harvested to be removed. I've received 5 or 6 marketing emails since signing up for an account.

For those who were not aware this deal was posted on SD on 5/1 and continues for 8 pages, a free shipping code was found and posted yesterday afternoon. I'm sure many people tried to buy multiple sets for resale.

The response had to be overwhelming for Murdoch's.

Even the in-store stock is having issues. Heard at least a couple people talking with employees today, trying to find stuff.

I was at Runnings (Putnam, CT) this afternoon, and they have the DeWalt construction jack on sale for $69.99, so I picked up a pair. I doubt that I will find them anywhere for less. They also had some DeWalt flashlights at 40 & 50% off their everyday price. The shelves were being stocked, and sale price cards were being put on them.
