Early 60s English Black & Decker 9" Saw

Dad was supposed to be a farmer but he preferred woodwork. When a builder friend invited him to help out with some hours, he jumped at it. He bought this saw and build a box for it; he was fussy about his tools. This would have been about 1963/4. The saw is in mint condition. You'll understand that I want to keep it that way. I did service it a few years ago - stripped and replaced grease.

Your dad would be proud to know we are discussing his saw and that it still has value to someone.
That is in excellent shape! I’d have a blast trying it out!
Any chance the blade bolt is BSF/Whitworth?
