Not sure. It’s metal on one end and a rubber pad on the other

Only way to know is if you give it a try. A few years ago, I picked up a Williams dead blow hammer that weighs about 10 pounds. It is a great persuader, but with the arthritis in my hands, I have a difficult time using it.
