Snap-on Box: Clanking sound halfway through drawer travel?

I'm getting a distinct 'clank' or clicking sound from my drawers exactly halfway through opening and closing them. You can hear it clearly in the attached video.

It happens right when the ball-bearing slides seem to transition from the inner track to pulling the intermediate track. The drawers are currently empty. My newer Snap-on box doesn't make this noise at all, so something feels off with this one.

How do we fix this? Can these slides be greased or serviced to quiet down that halfway engagement point, or do they require an actual replament?

it sounds like the center pc of the track is hitting the extreme ends ( which would be normal) . maybe there's rubber bumper or plastic bumpers missing

You might be onto something there. When I was cleaning some of the drawer slides earlier, I actually did see some small plastic bits falling off from the drawers. It definitely seems like they could be part of the slides breaking down.

Do you happen to know if Snap-on warranties those internal plastic dampeners, or how they normally handle fixing that?

Yes snap on will warranty the whole slide.
i think they said they will warranty 3 sets at a time without asking for the old ones back.
then you can wait a month a get three more.
warranty for the original owner, but then all they do is ask if you are the ori owner, they don’t require proof

Snap-on will warranty the slides. Whatever you do, don't tell them you bought the box from another person.

You're going to need the special pry bar SPP837. Not in the catalog. Order over the phone like you would a can of paint.
