Floor jack oil

So 50ish year old floor jack leaks a little. I need a quart container with a resealable lid.

Recommendations ?

HF sells Jack oil in a resealable container, or at least used to.

I think Menards and Farm and Fleet stock it, too.

Just about any hardware store or auto parts store will have jack oil.

My jacks have worked just fine with the same oil I have used in hydraulic systems on my farm equipment.

I have an ancient plastic quart container from Napa that has a flip spout.

ATF will work - plain jane, not the fancy synthetic stuff.

Jacks are hydraulic systems. There is nothing special about the oil other than it is hydraulic oil. Even then, the requirements are pretty low. No Temperature needs and no foaming problems. Any light oil will work.

When I rebuilt my 2T Hein Warner jack, it got refilled with dextron ATF, been working fine ever since.
