Any guesses on $$ to add 24' to an existing Morton shed?

Existing Morton building is 30Dx40Wx12H. Looking to add 30Dx24xWx12H (the side with the windows). The new side will have 2 windows as shown in the picture and on the gable end,1000005558.jpg I will have a walk-in door and likely a 12x10 garage door. New section will just be gravel and uninsulated for now. The existing end is already insulated/finished with steel walls. Just looking for cost of shell/Morton work. Existing building is 8 years old. I hope the new vs old tin will color match good.

It also depends on your standards.
Are you just slapping the new section on or do you plan on merging the new? In simple terms, what are your plans for the existing end wall, do you want to use the exact same material mix for the new section?
I'm not sure what tin and colors you have on the current structure. It has enough years for those pesky fast fade colors to show their age.

With no concrete and just some steel dried in about $30 to $35 / sq ft. turnkey with materials and labor.

Thats about what mine cost a year ago. I just talked with my builder and he said prices have remained right around the same.

With dirt work, concrete and spray foam insulation almost double the sq ft price.

But there are regional price differences.

Depends. I have actually had a similar job done. Is it heavy I-beam framed all the way to the end, or lighter weight c-channel end. Lighter end means you have to support the roof with posts somewhere. Heavier framing means self supporting, jerk out the end wall and go.

Depends on if you're going to have Morton do it, or someone else, too. IME, Morton is a fair bit costlier for the same end product.

This is my same thoughts....Morton is going to be more $$ than if you had an Amish crew locally.

I'll also add, it would be cheaper for a lean to type addition if you can make the measurements work out for your needs. I would prefer turn the roof line 90° perpendicular to keep your current 12' side wall height.

I priced couple new Morton buildings in January. 40x60 was $96k. 40x100 was $135k. That is twice the price our existing 40x60 buildings cost in the mid 1990's. These were machine sheds with two sliding door sets and one walk in. You might be able to use this Sq Ft calc to help you guess what Morton might charge you.

Considering inflation is over 100% since 1995,that tracks really well

People / contractors are still living in the Covid days, no skilled workers and material shortages. Double your estimate and find a good medical relaxer. It's going to be painful, sorry.

Update....30' x 32' addition, with 5" concrete, 2 - 36" walk doors, and 1 - 18' W x 10' Insulated garage door (and opener) = $67,000. I would still need to pay for site prep/excavation,

Thoughts?
