Wish they would do that with the Kobalt batteries... I got a 8AH 80v battery for my lawnmower a month ago for 1/2 off. I have a bunch of 4ah batteries but would like to add some more.
I know with at least the chainsaw it doesn't allow enough amps to be drawn for the chainsaw to work very well; I had to upgrade to a 5 ah one to get it to work correctly. The EGO 2.5AH battery for $99.00 is currently going on too- While not a super high capacity battery, it's good enough for many tasks. I was surprised to see it that low
Nothing new in regards to chainsaws. Most Milwaukee's large chainsaws need to run Forge or the largest 12ah HighOutput in order to not run into protect mode on the battery. If a chainsaw isn't demanding all that power, it isn't in the league of trying to compete with gas.I know with at least the chainsaw it doesn't allow enough amps to be drawn for the chainsaw to work very well; I had to upgrade to a 5 ah one to get it to work correctly.
I too have the PC colored ones but would not support buying them for anything more than random use around the house.CM 20V Nailer is on sale for DotD... $179.99 ($40 off)
The PC version (I forget if I have the 16 or 18ga version) I have works well. They are significantly heavier than their air counterparts, but both the lack of hose and (more importantly for me in some situations), not having to find an outlet to plug said compressor into when by sheds/etc make it worth it. Even a little battery will go thru quite a bit of nails.
**** like this is why I try to avoid Lowe's these days unless I need it in a hurry, am lazy, or perhaps both. The whole deal made zero sense, at all.
The garbage he's slapped his name on before has ended up becoming clearance fodder at my Walmart. Heck, I swear I saw some of the "Swarms" in there just last week.
Previously, similar kits were free (I've still got a few kicking around that I built--and I just threw one of the banks that is divided by coin type together after missing the one I had as a kid). Even the ones Lowe's sells are cheap. But fifteen bucks for that--OUCH.

agreed. I do the crafts with my 4yo once a month, provided we're local. Those events are free**** like this is why I try to avoid Lowe's these days unless I need it in a hurry, am lazy, or perhaps both. The whole deal made zero sense, at all.

I just looked on line. The description is plastic and non- metallic. Are those 100% plastic, or is the body metal?
$15.98 around here.

These are 100% lightweight plastic and great for organizing sewing supplies if you are into needlepoint. "IF" you are storing anything heavier these will not last long. Are those 100% plastic, or is the body metal?

They are fairly durable, I keep all my end mills and cap screws for milling in those organizers mounted to the wall and they are holding up wellAre those 100% plastic, or is the body metal?
