Wish they would do that with the Kobalt batteries... I got a 8AH 80v battery for my lawnmower a month ago for 1/2 off. I have a bunch of 4ah batteries but would like to add some more.

I know with at least the chainsaw it doesn't allow enough amps to be drawn for the chainsaw to work very well; I had to upgrade to a 5 ah one to get it to work correctly.
Nothing new in regards to chainsaws. Most Milwaukee's large chainsaws need to run Forge or the largest 12ah HighOutput in order to not run into protect mode on the battery. If a chainsaw isn't demanding all that power, it isn't in the league of trying to compete with gas.

CM 20V Nailer is on sale for DotD... $179.99 ($40 off)

The PC version (I forget if I have the 16 or 18ga version) I have works well. They are significantly heavier than their air counterparts, but both the lack of hose and (more importantly for me in some situations), not having to find an outlet to plug said compressor into when by sheds/etc make it worth it. Even a little battery will go thru quite a bit of nails.

I too have the PC colored ones but would not support buying them for anything more than random use around the house.
Maybe the new FLEX nailers I got have spoiled me.

Your mileage may vary but in the past week at the back isle of two of my Lowe’s I got some good deals.

I got this screwdriver for $14

I got the 1/4” to 1/2” version of this tap wrench for $7. This isn‘t as good as the Lisle tap sockets but it a decent one size catch all to use a ratchet to drive a tap.

Picked up this craftsman 48” level for $20.

**** like this is why I try to avoid Lowe's these days unless I need it in a hurry, am lazy, or perhaps both. The whole deal made zero sense, at all.

The garbage he's slapped his name on before has ended up becoming clearance fodder at my Walmart. Heck, I swear I saw some of the "Swarms" in there just last week.

Previously, similar kits were free (I've still got a few kicking around that I built--and I just threw one of the banks that is divided by coin type together after missing the one I had as a kid). Even the ones Lowe's sells are cheap. But fifteen bucks for that--OUCH.

agreed. I do the crafts with my 4yo once a month, provided we're local. Those events are free

this one popped up on the signup page and I almost bit, till I saw $15. why anyone's spending $15 on it i don't know

I thought they were free too, but I may have had to pay for the materials. Haven't been to one in 10 years or so, my kids aged out (or got bored). They absolutely should be free, the parents are in the building, and are almost guaranteed to buy something more expensive while there.

I'm wondering if they're charging because of the commercial / licensing tie-in (in this particular case).

Stopped by Lowe’s this morning to pickup an order and saw this in the aisle.

Craftsman small bin organizer reduced and marked clearance.

Are those 100% plastic, or is the body metal?

$15.98 around here.

Lowe’s deal of the day has a Craftsman tool package (8 tools and carry bag) on sale at $299 down from $459.

Craftsman V20. Quantity of 13 left at 0800 hours EST

Unknown if the coupon you received from the battery trade in will work.

V20 20-volt Max 8-Tool Power Tool Combo Kit with Soft Case (2-Batteries Included and Charger Included) https://www.lowes.com/pd/CRAFTSMAN-...ries-Included-and-Charger-Included/5013107411

I’m not sure how to add Ryan’s link so he can get credit for the sale to support GJ.

YMMV, but I noticed this V20 grinder was on clearance for today only:

I got one because $40 bucks for a namebrand, brushless angle grinder with a 3-year warranty is good deal.
